Private Training

Private training sessions are conducted in your home where your dog will behave most like themselves. This also gives us the opportunity to address the difficulties you are having with your dog, often in the same environments you are experiencing them in your day-to-day life.

Even if we end up working in other environments such as a park, your place of business, friends house, family’s house, beach, shopping center or businesses (service dog training), every client consultation begins the same way.

If you have any symptoms of not feeling well, even if slightly under the weather – contact me immediately to reschedule your appointment.
No penalties will be given for notifying me ahead of time.

Board & Train Programs

All Board & Train Programs begin with my Consultation where we will sit down and go over all of the behaviors you’d like to address, current routine, training history and your goals for your dog.

My goal is to ensure that not only your dog learns, but that you learn from me as well. I want you to have the skills and knowledge to be able to continue progress and remain consistent after you are finished working with me. This often begins with some routine changes before I even begin our program.

A dog who goes to learn with someone else, will learn how to adapt in that environment. There is a structure in place here, where I work with your dogs. They begin to rely on that structure and feel confident in themselves by having it.

That same structure must be followed at home as well – that’s where you come in and why it is essential that, no matter what, you are involved in the continuation of training your dog when they return. Following the guidelines and structure that I set in place for them and you.

I will give you updates of how your dog is progressing and my predictions on how it will continue to go.

Every dog has an adjustment period. The more I know the dog (if we’ve worked together a few times before we decide to go with board and train), the more comfortable they will be much sooner. If a dog is new and isn’t as familiar with me – they will need some time to adjust to me and everyone here.

Same for how severe their behaviors are and how long they have been displaying the unwanted behaviors. The longer the habit, the more time it may take to modify it.

I also incorporate other people in my training with your dog. This gives your dog a chance to practice what they are learning with someone who isn’t their trainer (me). It also helps smooth the transition from working with me to working with you, when they return home.

I pick up your dog for Board & Train to ensure that their ride over to my place is a happy and excited one. Some doggy parents feel sad or anxious the day that they hand the pup over to me, and that is 100% perfectly normal and okay! However, it does not go unnoticed by your pooch, and I want their entire experience to be a positive and happy one. This method ensures that they arrive calm and happy vs. stressed and worried.

When your dog is finished with their program here, I bring them back home to you so that I can demonstrate everything your dog learned, and teach you how to execute it all yourself. This way you can continue to remain consistent with your dog when they come home.

Distance Training

I am offering distance training and behavior consultations for those of you who are out of my travel area. I can do a majority of my training by utilizing my communication skills and by the magic of the internet and Zoom / FaceTime.

A lot of what training is, is understanding how to communicate effectively with the dog you have. It is not all about being some type of dominating personality or “showing them who’s boss”. I can help you to understand your dog better and guide you through training and shaping behaviors while watching you on screen.

Zoom Consultation (2 Hours)$185
Zoom Follow-up Session (1 Hour)$165
Zoom Check-in (30 min)$95

Sometimes all you need is just a quick check-in with me that can be done over a phone call. This is another option for long distance clients. Phone appointments can be made in a much quicker time-frame due to flexibility on where and when I can conduct this session.
